MACON TRANSITIONAL CENTER - Oct. 26, 2013

Wayne and Julia went to Macon Transitional Center to minister to the residents there. I was unable to go. While the men were coming in, a couple of them were discussing various topics of the Bible with Wayne. One asked about the prophecy teaching so Wayne opened with why prophecy is important to us.

Wayne explained that, with modern teaching of prophecy, the book of Revelation would be useless to all churches prior to a so called seven year tribulation and useless to the church once the seven year tribulation started. Therefore, the modern teaching of prophecy makes the book of Revelation, which God made sure to preserve for us, absolutely useless. Wayne then explained the relationship between the book of Daniel and the book of Revelation and how the prophecies were applicable for the past church, present church, and future church (if there is one).

Explaining the symbols of God, Wayne explained how the American church is the second beast, false prophet, the harlot to the whore. End days prophecy is important to us because, when we understand the fact of the players in end day prophecy, we can look closer at our teachings, compare it to the Bible, and see why we fulfilled those prophecies; then we can correct our ways.

Entering into a Biblical teaching of the Covenant system, old verses new, Wayne explained that this teaching, founded in 144AD, is the foundation of the modern day teaching of salvation and the Christian walk that keeps people IN their sin, not repentant, and lost.

Wayne then started the study by showing the various types of “Laws” that are in the Bible: Ten Commandments, Statutes, ceremonial (or works), Levitical, Mosaic, and talmud.

Wayne then discussed the modern beliefs of the so called differences between the two covenants, then pointed out Scripture that shows the difference do not exist.

Wayne then discussed the Hebrew words “brit chadash”: brit meaning covenant and chadash meaning new or renewed. He explained how Strongs added accent marks to divide the meaning, but the one word does not exists in the Hebrew language, even today. He then gave several examples of the use of chadash in both uses, by using a series of Scripture.

Since time ran out, Wayne told them that the study will pick up next month where he had to leave off. One resident, who was apparently interested in this teaching, wanted to confirm what weekend we will be back. Wayne gave the men Galatians to study; especially Galatians 3; which explains when the Covenants were formed and explains the Covenant we are in today.

They closed in prayer asking prayer request to which there were none, except for a general prayer for everyone.
