Sheila "signed" to "Through it All" by Andrae Crouch. Women were weeping and praising God for all He has brought them through.
Pastor Kevin Humphery felt led to pray specifically for healing - mental, emotional, and physical - before starting his sermon and the group responded wholeheartedly.

Healing as discussed in the parable of the Prodigal Son in Luke 15 was the lesson. The parables of the lost sheep and the lost coin were used to describe the joy in Heaven over each recovered soul. Then in Vs. 11, came the story of the young man and his rich, loving father. This was related to the out-of-control behaviors of people who "want what they want, now", get it only due to a parent's love, and end up in bad circumstances.
The downfall of the young man feeding the swine was connected to the harsh effects of selfish living resulting in doing things we thought "I'll NEVER do...". Satan steals our self worth, self-respect, and freedom. Vs. 17 describes the young man "Coming to himself" - having a clear, rational thought. For many, coming to jail was the answer to a desperate prayer for healing and the 1st chance to think clearly.

Starting in Vs 18, the man "Arose" and came to himself. He went back home, met his Father, admitted his wrongs, and asked for forgiveness and a chance to work. Kevin asked the women to return to their loved ones, admit their wrongs, humbly beg forgiveness, and then change through the Grace of God. He asked them not to let fear or let some failures stop them from moving forward. Just like the Father ran to the son from afar, God will meet us as we start on His path and give us the strength we need when we need it.

Many came forward to pray for salvation and a majority came up to pray for healing and strength at the end of the service. Hallelujah.
