WEST CENTRAL INTEGRATED TREATMENT FACILITY - July 26, 2014

Kevin and I went to West Central to minister to 44 of God's precious ladies. What an awesome praise and worship we had. The ladies came up front in "waves" during the different songs weeping and praising God. The Spirit of God was so heavy in the room.

Kevin ministered on "Can you Hear the Rain" taking his text from 1 Kings 18:41-46
He told the ladies, "you only have one shot at this thing. If you mess it up, you have no one to blame but yourself."

Kevin ministered on "Can you Hear the Rain" taking his text from 1 Kings 18:41-46
He told the ladies, "you only have one shot at this thing. If you mess it up, you have no one to blame but yourself."

Kevin talked about Elijah and the drought and brought it down to where they live and their situations.

In vs. 41 - Elijah told Ahab to prepare for the abundance of rain and there was still a drought. Elijah told Ahab to go eat. Kevin told the ladies that they should be "eating" the Word every day.

In vs. 42 Elijah bowed down and put his face between his knees. Elijah worshipped God. The trouble with most of us is that we are "worshipping" the wrong thing. Worship is the beginning. If you try to "fake it until you make it," it's going to take you to hell. Kevin told the ladies that they have a testimony inside of them that will influence others.

In vs. 43 - Elijah told his servant to go look for rain. The servant came back and said there is nothing. What do you do when nothing happens? Go again! Elijah sent his servant 7 times.

We need to have patience. James 1:2-4 says My brethren, count it all joy when ye fall into divers temptations; Knowing this, that the trying of your faith worketh patience. But let patience have her perfect work, that ye may be perfect and entire, wanting nothing. Without Jesus all you have is "doom and gloom." When things are tough, hang in there. God will always show up and show out.

In vs. 44 the servant came back and said there is a cloud about the size of a man's hand. When it does not look like much or not what we expected or used to, that does not mean to lose your faith. God is working. Kevin told the ladies that something is going to happen this week! It will start small, but you'll see a sign .... maybe a phone call, a letter but there will be something.

Elijah instructed his servant to go tell Ahab to prepare his chariot. Ladies, get ready for the blessing so it does not overwhelm you. God is getting everything ready so when you step out of here, you are going to be different.

vs. 45 - black sky and heavy rain. The great blessing of your life

vs. 46 - the hand of the Lord is upon you

There were no new salvations, but Kevin asked the ladies if they are ready for the hand of the Lord to be upon them and everyone came up for prayer. It was an awesome service! Praise God!
