DAY OF BREAKTHROUGH - Emanuel PDC, Twin City, GA - Oct. 19, 2013

We had another amazing Day of Breakthrough. Unlike last year where the Holy Spirit moved so freely from the very beginning, we met some resistance this year due to gang activity in the facility. But the Lord was not going to be stopped!!!! There were 130 men in the yard and we were thrilled. That was more than we’ve had there before.

We had quite a few new volunteers go in with us this year and every single one on my team did an outstanding job from setting up and tearing down to ministering on the yard with music, drama, amazing testimonies and preaching that was unbelievable!

Elijah Project Band joined us again this year and the men really enjoyed them.

Elijah Project Band joined us again this year and the men really enjoyed them. They are such an anointed group and show the love of the Lord to the inmates. Michael Cornett (leader of the group) led one of the inmates to the Lord in between sets by sharing with him.

“Rooster” Roper and his son Kyle went in with us and both of them sang and played keyboard. The inmates absolutely loved them and asked for them again. “Rooster” plays and sings Jerry Lee Lewis style and tore up the keyboard. The guys went “crazy.” Kyle opened his set by singing "I Can't Even Walk (Without You Holding My Hand)" The guys moved up from the yard to the pavilion so they could watch him. He was a big hit and the anointing was so heavy that tears were flowing down his cheeks.

So many lives were radically changed! I heard many testimonies from the men before we left and I know each of my team have many they could share that were told to them. We had one gang leader who was hard and tough acting all day come up to Kevin at the end of the day crying and gave his heart to the Lord.

We left there with joyful hearts and also changed. Even though we are totally exhausted, we are already looking forward to the next one!

Even if the Day of Breakthrough had not been as amazing as it was, the salvation of the young lady working at the hotel we stayed at was worth the trip!

Thank you to my amazing team for your dedication, love and commitment to the Day of Breakthrough! God used each and every one of you! I am so honored that God gave me such an awesome team! Also thank you to Relevate Church, Ferry Pass Baptist Church, Jerry Smith, and Wayne and Julia Smith for your contributions that helped to make this day possible. We could have never done it without you!
